We are searching for the best talent a Senior Sourcing Manager - Packaging and Drug Delivery Systems (DDS) for New Product Introductions (NPIs), located in Titusville (US); Beerse (BE) or Zug (CH). This role provides end‑to‑end procurement leadership for Packaging and DDS within Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine. The position embeds procurement early into R&D and NPI programs, where we deliver value beyond cost, and support and accelerate innovation, while ensuring resilient and scalable supply in alignment with the overall strategy to deliver on J&J's core objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or equivalent preferably in economics or supply chain.
  • 5 to 8 years of procurement experience within DDS or Packaging, preferably in a regulated medical device, or pharmaceutical environments.
  • Strong category management, sourcing and supplier relationship management capabilities.
  • Comfortable engaging in technical, supply chain and commercial discussions with R&D and supplier partners.
  • Able to influence senior business partners without formal authority.
  • Strong communicator with a global, cross‑functional approach.
  • Working in an international environment across different time zones
  • Travel: up to 20% - project dependent
  • Strong in English written and verbal communication

  • Experienced in operating in an innovative R&D and NPI‑intensive environments.
  • Proven strong sense of ownership and accountability, translating sourcing strategies into tangible NPI outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end Packaging & DDS Procurement strategies across development, and commercialization.
  • Act as the Procurement lead and primary point of contact to R&D for selected Packaging and DDS, from early development through commercialization readiness.
  • Build supplier and platform strategies that enable standardization, scalability and long‑term lifecycle stewardship across development and marketed products.
  • Lead supplier relationships, negotiation strategies, contracting and performance management.
  • Embed design‑to‑value, should‑cost modeling into sourcing and development decisions.
  • Ensure regulatory, quality, and business continuity readiness of DDS and packaging suppliers operating in GMP‑regulated environments.
