Senior Manager, Strategic Planning & Process Design

True Classic Los Angeles, CA
70d$135,000 - $155,000

About The Position

True Classic is looking for a strategic, systems-minded leader to join our Planning & Inventory team as a Senior Manager of Strategic Planning & Process Design. This role is built for someone with a consulting or transformation background who’s ready to design, build, and scale best-in-class planning processes at one of the fastest-growing DTC men’s apparel brands. We’re not looking for a traditional planner — we’re looking for a builder: a problem solver, systems thinker, and process architect who can define the next generation of how True Classic plans inventory, runs S&OP, and drives data-informed decision-making. As operational planning continues to transition to offshore support, this leader will focus on strategy, process design, tool innovation, and cross-functional alignment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone ready to move from consulting into an operational leadership role — where your analytical rigor, structured thinking, and communication skills will directly shape how True Classic scales globally. This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence 3x/week in our Culver City office.

  • Experience in apparel industries or consumer products.

  • Track record of driving cross-functional alignment in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Responsibilities

  • Reimagine and design the future-state demand planning framework, from forecast creation through buy alignment, integrating business intelligence, technology, and process simplification.
  • Architect tools, templates, and data structures to enhance forecast accuracy and speed of decision-making.
  • Lead initiatives to automate and offshore repeatable workflows, creating capacity for high-value strategic work.
  • Build and operationalize a robust, insight-driven S&OP cadence that connects financial goals, demand signals, and supply constraints.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Merchandising, and Operations to establish alignment on topline targets, inventory strategy, and capacity planning.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations — driving clarity, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
  • Own the development of reporting and visualization frameworks that enable real-time inventory visibility and scenario planning.
  • Distill complex data into executive-ready insights that guide investment decisions and mitigate risk.
  • Identify structural drivers of forecast variance and recommend improvements through systems, process, or capability enhancements.
  • Partner with Tech and BI teams to evaluate, implement, and optimize demand planning and inventory tools.
  • Champion automation, AI, standardization, and scalability across planning processes.
  • Collaborate on new system integrations (e.g., ERP, planning, and analytics platforms).

  • Serve as a trusted partner to leadership, influencing decisions through clear communication, data-driven insights, and structured problem-solving.
