Position Summary The role supports the Enterprise Information Security and Technology Solutions area of DDAT (Digital, Data & Analytics and Technology) with a portfolio expense over $1B and capital cost of over $200M. This role will provide financial planning and analysis leadership by partnering with senior business stakeholders and leading key planning and reporting cycles (monthly results, quarterly forecast, annual budget, and long‑range planning) for assigned areas. This role is responsible for analyzing financial performance, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities, and translating insights into clear recommendations to improve outcomes against targets. The Sr. Manager supports consolidation and reporting activities as needed by coordinating inputs and assumptions across Finance and business partners. The candidate will collaborate with the Lead Director and business owners as well as cross‑functional partners to evaluate expense and investment trends, support decision making, and proactively manage forecast risks and trade‑offs. The role may mentor and develop others and lead projects that improve planning processes, reporting, and financial transparency.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of related work experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, or a similar analytical function
  • Demonstrated experience with forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and financial modeling
  • Advanced proficiency in MS tools, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong business partnership and communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders and drive decisions
  • Proven problem solving and decision-making skills; mastery of growth mindset (agility and developing self/others)
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field preferred); or equivalent years of experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of CVS financial systems and planning tools a plus
  • Experience supporting Technology and/or corporate shared services areas in previous roles a plus
  • Leverage strong financial modeling skills (Excel and advanced functions like Macros, Index Match, vLookup, etc)
  • Assist in the development of ad-hoc analyses and actionable recommendations for senior leadership
  • Drives continuous process improvement and leveraging of technology
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Has experience designing and executing process improvements
  • MBA/CPA or other relevant professional certification a plus
