About The Position

The Senior Manager, Seller Compliance Policy is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining standards documentation in alignment with marketplace and corporate compliance policies. This role ensures robust control frameworks are established, maintained, and monitored to reduce organizational risk and ensure adherence to applicable regulations and internal guidelines. This role will be focused on the Seller's lifecycle behaviors to ensure non-compliant sellers are identified and controls are reviewed and mitigated when issues are found.

Requirements

  • Must be highly motivated and customer focused to manage functional responsibilities and key relationships.
  • Experience being an analytical thinker, understands data and metrics.
  • Experience and comfort working with cross functional teams.
  • Fraud, risk management, policy, ecommerce experience in the consumer or retail market.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • International experience (preferred).
  • Project management experience to include facilitation, leadership, portfolio management and execution.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Business Administration.
  • Project Management Professional Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Draft clear, comprehensive standards documentation in accordance with established policy requirements.
  • Implement effective controls to ensure compliance with relevant policies impacting marketplace and eCommerce operations.
  • Develop and oversee ongoing monitoring mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of implemented controls.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align compliance standards and processes across operational teams.
  • Mitigate risk through the continuous identification, escalation, and resolution of compliance-related issues within marketplace activities.
  • Stay on top of risk and legislation issues that impact Walmart and proactively identify new policies to mitigate against brand risk from fraudulent sellers.
  • Manage relationships with Risk Ops teams and act as a policy consultant for seller policies/guidelines implementation.
