About The Position

The Senior Manager, Intellectual Property & Brand Protection Solutions sits within Walmart's Global Intellectual Property & Brand Protection team. The team is responsible for protecting and enforcing the intellectual property rights of sellers, suppliers, and other rights owners, creating a more trusted marketplace for customers. This team is part of the larger Global eCommerce & Marketplace Compliance organization. The right person in this role leads the strategy, delivery, and management of product and operational solutions in the areas of intellectual property and brand protection. This person reports to the Senior Director, Global Intellectual Property & Brand Protection.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in intellectual property or brand protection
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly as it relates to the development of product solutions to mitigate risk
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Proven experience building and scaling compliance tools
  • Strong management, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working in eCommerce, retail, or technology-driven environments

Nice To Haves

  • Experience integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and large language models (LLMs) into compliance tools and program
  • Corporate Compliance, Engineering, and/or Product Management experience

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and manage the development of a portfolio of product and operational solutions essential to scaling an effective compliance program
  • Collaborate with partners in Compliance, Legal, Product, and Engineering, with a subject matter expertise in intellectual property and brand protection
  • Build and scale a unified, global brand portal and brand engagement program
  • Solve for difficult problems and challenges inherent in operating an effective compliance program
  • Manage a variety of priorities and timelines in an organized and efficient manner
