About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented SOX Audit Specialist to support our SOX program. This role is responsible for executing key control testing and maintaining thorough documentation across a variety of business processes. This requires onsite presence in Greeley, CO.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SOX compliance, internal audit, or related field.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and financial processes.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Manage a team of 4-5 people in SOX capacity

Responsibilities

• Perform SOX testing procedures across key control areas, including Financial Close & Reporting, Entity-Level Controls and Accounts Payable
• Review prior-year workpapers to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with current-year testing.
• Identify and document control deficiencies, supporting remediation efforts as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with process owners, internal audit, and external auditors to facilitate testing and issue resolution.
• Maintain well-organized, clear, and audit-ready documentation in compliance with professional standards.
