As a Senior Manager of Solutions Engineering for NetApp’s EDA Solutions, you’ll lead a team of Solutions Engineers supporting some of our key Global Strategics customers. Partnering with Regional Sales Leaders, you’ll shape technical go-to-market strategy, build and develop top talent, and ensure alignment between sales execution and technical excellence. Drive solution development and partners with sales, product management and technical leaders to win new business. Locations: Ideal candidate will reside in: San Francisco, CA or San Jose, CA (Bay Area) Role Overview What You’ll Do Lead and develop a team of high-performing Solutions Engineers, fostering deep technical expertise, business acumen, and a customer-first mindset. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, HR, and Talent Acquisition to build and execute a strategic hiring plan that scales with business growth. Drive operational alignment through weekly forecast meetings with Sales Leaders, ensuring visibility into pipeline health, quota attainment, and technical engagement readiness. Define and execute the regional technical strategy that aligns to sales priorities, industry trends, and customer transformation goals. Engage directly with customers and partners, representing the technical voice of the region and influencing key deals and strategic relationships. Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and customer success teams to advocate for customer needs and influence roadmap direction. Foster a culture of enablement, ensuring your teams are trained, certified, and equipped to lead with value across NetApp’s hybrid cloud, storage, and data management solutions.
