Position: Senior Manager, Software Engineering Job Location: 805 SE Moberly Ln Bentonville, AR 72712 Duties: Assist in the creation of a simple, modular, extensible, and functional design for the product or solution in adherence to the requirements. Evaluate trade-offs while designing across multiple components in a product based on the business requirements. Convert high-level design (HLD) to create detailed designs using mock screens, pseudocodes, and detailed functional logic of the modules for specific modules or components of a product. Understand the nuances of designing for disaster recovery. Design and create a minimum viable product (MVP) to clarify requirements, design, and uncover risks. Independently refine the MVP design to address early defects and revised customer requirements. Create and configure minimalistic code for entire components or applications, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements, non-functional requirements, low-maintainability, high-availability, and high-scalability needs. Assist in selecting appropriate languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, C#), development standards, and tools (e.g., Monday.com, Linx, Embold) for software coding and configuration. Take initiative to learn the fundamentals of different coding languages and frameworks that would be useful for future scope of work. Build scripts to automate repetitive and routine tasks in CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery), testing, or any other applicable processes. Implement telemetry features independently as required. Ensure that security policy requirements are properly applied to components and applications during code development and configuration. Map customer requirements into test objectives. Identify and create test cases for the component or module. Execute test cases to test the code and detect errors and defects for the entire component. Execute different types of testing using appropriate testing tools based on the testing needs. Provide support to relevant stakeholders to drive adherence to performance metrics of the program for different projects. Take appropriate measures when required to bring program health on track in case of adversity. Provide inputs to improve the throughput, efficiency, and effectiveness of programs. Manage CI/CD by tracking and reviewing deployment schedules and guiding the team throughout the process. The role will also supervise: 1 - Software Engineer II; 4 - Software Engineer III; 3 - Senior Software Engineer.
