About The Position

As a Senior Manager, Software Engineering, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions aligned with business objectives. This role requires guiding cross-functional teams through requirement analysis, solution design, and implementation while ensuring high-quality standards and operational excellence. You will drive continuous improvement by anticipating risks, prioritizing features, and fostering innovation within the software development lifecycle. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will ensure alignment with strategic goals and promote a culture of technical excellence and accountability across projects. Requirements

  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset that focuses on putting the customer first
  • 10+ years of hands-on software development experience
  • 3+ years ofSoftware Development Management experience
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying scalable AI/ML solutions integrated with LLM in production environments.
  • Strong background in both front-end and back-end software engineering.
  • Hands-on expertise with AI/ML tech stacks and modern software engineering practices.
  • Experience with agile frameworks and facilitating agile ceremonies.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of AIOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform/CDK, and MLflow, for deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Option 2: 7 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 2 years' supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, coach and lead a high performing GenAI software engineering team
  • Collaborate with Product, UX and Business teams on roadmap development and prioritization.
  • Drive the technical vision and strategy for the Gen AI engineering team.
  • Drive the entire software lifecycle, from inception to launch, to deliver high quality products on time, on budget.
  • Own your teams operational excellence, develop and drive plans for quality and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with multiple technology teams to ensure APIs and system interfaces are designed to meet the long term program goals.
  • Create a collaborative team environment that fosters creativity, speed, innovation, and learning.
