About The Position

The Senior Manager, Segment Finance will serve as the financial steward for this client partnership, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance. You will analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations that support operational excellence and client satisfaction. A critical component of this role is direct, ongoing communication with senior client leadership. You will present financial results, explain variances, align on forecasts, and ensure the client has full confidence in the financial health of the program. This requires exceptional clarity, professionalism, and the ability to tailor financial information to a non‑financial audience. You will collaborate closely with operational leaders, Sodexo finance teams, and cross‑functional partners to ensure financial accuracy, transparency, and strategic alignment. Travel up to 20% will be required to support on‑site operations and client engagement.

Requirements

  • Strong background in foodservice or hospitality finance, accounting, and budgeting
  • Experience in workplace dining, catering, or related service industries
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships across internal teams and with clients
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and guide senior client leaders
  • Strong analytical and decision‑making capabilities
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and align stakeholders around financial strategy
  • Proficiency in SAP, Maximo, and other financial systems
  • Demonstrated success in finance operations or similar roles
  • A data‑driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience - 5 yearsMinimum Functional Experience - 3 years

Responsibilities

  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

  • Ensure contract compliance and adherence to financial controls
  • Partner cross‑functionally with operations, supply chain, HR, and other internal teams
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance financial performance
  • Utilize SAP, Maximo, and other financial systems to manage and track financial activity
  • Travel up to 20% to support on‑site operations and client relationships
