Requirements

  • Minimum of eight years related work experience, with at least three years of technology architect experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification- CISSP preferred.
  • GSEC preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Creates the strategy of security infrastructure technology programs for the organization.
  • Determines security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; researches information security standards; conducts system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; studies architecture/platform; identifies integration issues.
  • Delivers the implementation of security systems by confirming intrusion detection methodologies and equipment; directs equipment and software installation and calibration; prepares preventive and reactive measures. Creates, transmits, and maintains keys; allocates resources for technical support; completes documentation.
  • Manages the verification of security systems; validates incident response analyses; develops and conducts training programs.
  • Oversees the assessment of upgrades to security systems; validates security gaps; evaluates enhancements. Prepares system security reports to provide updates on data and trends.
  • Enhances expertise by having a deep understanding of emerging security practices and standards; participates in educational opportunities; reads professional publications; maintains personal networks; participates in professional organizations, oversees security awareness programs.
  • Develops and maintains a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and corporate and business unit strategies to provide context for security architectural decision making.
  • Consults on cloud security technologies, tools and techniques.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
