At Schwab, you're empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us 'challenge the status quo' and transform the finance industry together. Chuck established our Company over 40 years ago with the intent of championing Main Street over Wall Street—to help Americans transform themselves from earners to owners. Through advocacy and innovation, we work to make investing more affordable, accessible, and understandable for all. We believe, when done right, investing liberates people to create their own destiny. As we enter our fifth decade, we are looking for talented and driven people who believe they can help themselves and our clients to create a better future. We hire optimistic, results-oriented, curious, innovative, and adaptable people who have the desire to help our clients and one another succeed. The Enterprise and Operational Risk Management (EORM) department's mission is to enable Schwab's businesses to help our client's Own Their Tomorrow through excellence in risk management. Our strategic vision is to implement and maintain an EORM model that sets the highest standards, challenges the status quo, and keeps business partner and client needs at the center of our work, while remaining responsive to the regulatory landscape and broader industry trends, thereby ensuring Schwab maintains its competitive advantage. EORM Strategy and Operations team drives strategy, change, structure and discipline to EORM's operational activities, with a focus on driving scale and simplicity across the EORM organization. The EORM Senior Manager will report to the Director of EORM Strategy and Operations. Managing these activities requires strategic thinking, astute attention to detail as well as moving parts, trusted and collaborative relationships across the organization, clear communication to develop and deliver polished presentations to executive leadership, and ability to influence a diverse audience using subject matter expertise and executive presence.
