About The Position

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Manager - Risk Advisory in New York, NY. Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, Auditing, or related field) required Professional Certification such as CIA or CPA required 10+ years of hands-on accounting management for a mid-sized company (50-500 employees) preferably in the wholesale or distribution business 5+ years of working in internal audit, consulting, advisory services, or a related field, either in professional services or industry ideally Recent Controllership or equivalent experience Demonstrate knowledge and experience through ability to identify and solve issues with the client and partner Some experience with Sales Tax Experience in businesses that had Product/Inventory to manage (i.e., Retail, Wholesale) Hands-on approach, having managed the books and records including AR/Credit/AP Experience working with ERP system and some experience doing upgrades with superior with Data analytics skills, queries, MS-Access, and Excel Ability to develop budgets, do variance analysis and report back to owners on results and action plans Solid computer skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive, upbeat personality Willing and able to work on site (this is not a remote opportunity) Financial services industry experience is a plus

Requirements
