About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Resource Management to support our NY office. They will report in through the RM capability and partner with our NA Agency Operations team to utilize the established RM tools and processes to effectively and efficiently identify resourcing solutions and needs across the business unit.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in resource management, project management, or related field (preferably in an agency setting).
  • Fluent in Excel.
  • Ability to be trusted with sensitive information.
  • Demonstrates fiscal responsibility for the agency, adhering to financial controls & policies.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior team members by motivating and directing junior team members, escalating issues upward as needed.
  • Support account & client ops leads to stand up teams following a new win or expanded work.
  • Participate in discussions around shared best practices & consistent ways of working, carrying out implementation plans and directing more junior team members.
  • Ensure excellence in implementation of plans and consistent ways of working for self and more junior team members.
  • Carry out implementation plans for function innovation and evolution, directing more junior team members as directed.
  • Gather, input and maintain data in the RM team tool, leading or supporting depending on level of size & complexity of office/capability/practice.
  • Build reports and data for leadership, providing subsequent analysis and insight.
  • Run regular staffing meetings, ensuring appropriate preparedness to move through agenda efficiently and with impactful results.
  • Support senior leaders in the facilitation of staffing discussions, helping to arrive at objective solutions.
  • Solidify strong relationships with colleagues and be a problem solver, escalating highly sensitive or complex issues to function leader.
