About The Position

As a Senior Manager, Replenishment & Forecasting, you will be focused on strategic planning, assessing future supply, and ensuring the right amount of products are available at the right place and at the right time. Positioned at the intersection of operations and business process, you'll leverage your ability to collaborate cross-functionally to influence the direction of decisions that impact financial outcomes and customer experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or related on-the-job specific training (emphasis in business/marketing or related field).
• 10+ years of experience replenishment and/or sales analysis.
• Experience working with a leading CPG company (Category Management, Sales, Trade Marketing, Shopper Insights, or related position).
• Demonstrated knowledge of forecasting philosophies, tools and processes and proven record of success.
• Demonstrated success in leading forecasting and supply chain engagements with a major retailer.
• Advanced analytical skills and computer software proficiency (e.g. Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).
• Strong familiarity with syndicated data, measures, and software (e.g. Nielsen, IRI, dunnhumby, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Drive results through the Replenishment process from forecasting POS at a DC/Store level to managing KPI’s such in-stocks, fill rates, On-Time (MABD) compliance
• Utilize Retail Link applications daily such as Nova, DSS, CPFR, GRS to determine health of all items and the ability to generate ADHOC reports for detailed analysis
• Daily review of all Sam’s orders to ensure amounts are in-line with projected forecast and within targeted days of supply at DC/Club level.
• Interact with Sam’s Replenishment Manager as needed to ensure proper flow of product to the DC/Club level.
• Weekly forecast review across all items to maintain a 10% variance +/- to POS trend.
• Review lead times periodically to ensure the replenishment system is accurate.
• Utilize POS history, POS forecast, Inventory DOS targets, and DC/Club Inventory position to anticipate potential out of stocks or over stocks
• Develop replenishment strategies to improve or maintain in-stocks on key strategic items
• Collaborate with Sam’s Club RM on seasonal, holiday, event strategies to ensure proper flow of product to all DC’s, Stores, and Clubs
• Identify opportunities through analysis of POS/Sales/Inventory trends to streamline product flow to DC/Store/Club
• Work closely with logistics manager to drive On-Time performance that meets Sam’s expectations
• Provide collaboration for new product introductions, product conversions, and promotional events.
