  • Provides advice, support and objective guidance to assigned portfolio, business or function on development and maintenance of all aspects of Compliance/Center of Excellence programs.
  • Anticipates emerging business trends and regulatory/risk issues as a basis for recommending large-scale product, technical, functional or operations improvements.
  • Serves as a source of expert advice to senior management in field of specialty.
  • Advises on execution strategy and leads the development and deployment of functional programs or initiatives.
  • Identifies and leads problem resolution for project/program complex requirements related issues at all levels.
  • Oversees respective programs/policies/practices are well managed, meet business needs, comply with internal and external requirements, and align with business priorities.
  • Conducts enterprise wide annual risk assessment for all TD businesses.
  • Maintains oversight of all functions and accountabilities related to management reporting and analysis.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • Strong background in leading strategic initiatives.
  • Experience with regulation remediation addressing and resolving identified regulatory compliance issues.
  • Ability to lead strategic initiatives, analyzing regulation implications, baseline and setting standards.
  • Strong consumer banking regulatory compliance experience.
  • People Leadership.
  • Setting Compliance standards, policies and procedures.
  • Experience with Consent Orders and MRA's.
  • Experience with audit and regulatory findings with closure.
