About The Position

Are you an experienced proposal manager adept at managing people and processes? Sodexo has an immediate need for a Senior Manager, Proposal Content Development (RFP) to lead a team of RFP Strategists in the end-to-end management of proposal submissions. This role oversees a high-volume pipeline of sales requests for proposals, ensuring brand consistency, engagement, and high-quality submissions. The Senior Manager plays a key role in supervising project assignments, managing personnel, and fostering professional growth within the team. Location: Remote (US-based, candidates can reside anywhere in the U.S.)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in English, communications, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including five years in proposal, marketing, or sales content development.
• At least three years of management experience (RFP team management preferred).
• Association of Proposal Management (APMP) certification and Shipley training required.
• Strong command of the English language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Superior project management skills: highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively in a deadline-driven, high-volume environment.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in content writing, grammar, and messaging.
• Ability to develop a content strategy that aligns with the company's goals and articulates a clear value proposition.
• Experience working in high-volume proposal environments with minimal customization.
• Knowledge of AP and company style guide standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the high-volume proposal process, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions.
• Review incoming RFPs, assess due dates, and allocate projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Build strong relationships with internal clients, sales leaders, and stakeholders to ensure effective outcomes.
• Maintain high standards for proposal content, structure, and messaging.
• Implement best practices and consistent methods to enhance proposal development and submission.
• Leverage Workfront (project intake), Adobe software, and proprietary AI tools.
• Manage and mentor a team of 13 remote Proposal Managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, handling multiple RFPs with minimal customization while utilizing AI tools for content creation.
• Guide messaging direction, ensuring proposals align with the company's value proposition and maintain brand consistency.
• Stay abreast of business challenges, competitor strategies, and industry trends to inform proposal strategy.
