The position involves supporting the Head of the Programme Management Office in coordinating the management of projects and programmes. The role includes providing assistance to Project/Programme Managers on various deliverables related to project management. The individual will manage a medium complexity project for a specific business function or a group of smaller initiatives, and may also be responsible for project implementation in specific countries, adhering to both country-specific requirements and Group Change Delivery Standards.

  • Support the Head, Programme Management Office in coordinating project management.
  • Work closely with PMs and regional/local teams on financial management and project planning.
  • Manage a single project of medium complexity or a group of smaller initiatives.
  • Ensure planned changes align with strategic business objectives.
  • Drive project delivery and establish project governance.
  • Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver change projects in an Agile environment.
  • Manage project financials and support annual investment budget exercises.
  • Facilitate project meetings and agile events.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure audit readiness.
  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 8+ years of work experience in the banking field.
  • Proven track record in project/initiative implementation.
  • Experience managing Agile and waterfall projects.
  • Project Management accreditation required (PMP/PSM/ITIL/PRINCE2/Agile).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Experience with planning tools such as Clarity PPM, JIRA, ADO, Confluence, Trello.
  • Knowledge of banking policies and key risk areas.
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset.
  • Ability to work independently with stakeholders.
