About The Position

Overseeing project portfolios, defining standards, and aligning projects with business goals, acting as a bridge between leadership and project teams to ensure successful, timely, and budget-compliant delivery. Key responsibilities include establishing methodologies, managing resources, controlling budgets, mentoring project managers, facilitating governance, managing risks, ensuring adherence to internal & external quality standards, and providing high-level reporting to stakeholders, focusing on strategic alignment and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; 8+ years of relevant experience including 5+ years management or leadership experience - or Master’s degree; 6+ years of relevant experience including 4-5 years management or leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-program initiatives.
  • Solid background as a Project or Program Manager with proven delivery success.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Pragmatic approach with financial knowledge and a commercial outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Engineering, science or technical BS.
  • Experience with Dassault 3DS PLM.
  • PgMP, PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent program management certification.
  • Six Sigma green or black belt.
  • Experience with IATF quality standards and APQP framework.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring department goals/objectives are met and align to Firestone Airide's overall strategy.
  • Providing transparent reporting to senior management and stakeholders on project status and benefits.
  • Supervising PMO staff, mentoring project managers, and coordinating cross-functional teams to accept policy, practices, and approaches.
  • Allocating resources effectively, managing budgets, tracking deliverables, and overseeing overall risk management.
  • Ensuring portfolio of projects meet milestone and budget requirements, identifying the opportunities, risks, and associated mitigations.
