The Global Procurement team is focused on delivering effective operational and financial solutions to enable the selected sourcing and procurement initiatives and improve existing processes. We deliver holistic, sustainable, scalable sourcing, procurement and payable solutions that provide appropriate accounting and effective controls to protect the company and support quality financial statements and reporting. Our team is responsible for a variety of priorities, including solving complex problems for all our stakeholders across the board by providing world-class services such as Source to Contract and Procure to Pay for Goods Not for Resale, Business Intelligence, Analysis, and Automation. What you'll do... As the Senior Manager, Program Management, you will be responsible for improving processes, conducting gap analyses, and implementing best practices across Global Procurement. You will work with key stakeholders inside and outside of Global Procurement to understand business needs, and to design and implement effective sourcing, procurement and payable systems solutions while serving as point of contact for procurement applications and system design for the Global Procurement business. You will ensure awareness of strategic programs and initiatives, leadership support and user adoption. In this role, you will leverage a variety of program management skills to help managers and associates adopt new tools and to understand ways to improve their experience. By relentlessly focusing on the end user, you will develop new processes and explore new ways to deliver solutions that will keep associates engaged and excited about the work we’re doing. You will advise and support the business using the industry best practices to transform ways of working while partnering with business segments on the procurement business and processes. You will identify and implement solutions that can be leveraged and repeated in other areas that conduct and support procurement activity. This position is crucial in developing and implementing processes, standardizing best practices, and driving the execution of business plans and projects within the procurement team. You will identify customer and operational needs, communicate business plans and priorities, remove barriers, measure progress, and support continuous learning.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field and 4 years' experience in business, operations, analytics, or related area OR 6 years' experience in business, operations, analytics, or related area.
  • 2 years’ supervisory experience.
  • 3 years’ project management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives to ensure business needs are being met.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to identify goals, risks, and issues, and create program strategies.
  • Improve program management processes by conducting gap analyses and implementing best practices.
  • Recommend program changes based on data and guide cross-functional teams to implement.
  • Build strong relationships with team members and business partners to achieve objectives.
  • Partnering with business stakeholders to determine the best ways to reach target audiences
  • Finding the right mix of information sharing and training to help users adopt new tools, processes, and ways of working
  • Gathering end user data to understand opportunities to improve the user experience

  • Understanding the procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management
  • Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive rollout plan, including timelines, resource allocation, and communication strategies
  • Monitor and track progress, addressing any issues or challenges that may arise during the rollout process
  • Supporting large scale cross functional projects and programs through Initiating, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Controlling, and Closing
  • Support the development of long-range plans and project timelines, change management strategies; anticipate risks and issues, proactively providing sustainable risk mitigation solutions
  • Track action items, risks, risk mitigation, issues, and resolutions
  • Create lessons learned after each key milestone; develop best in class playbook from requirements gathering through implementation to ensure successful deployment
  • Understand the full functionality of the programs in progress to anticipate impacts in the downstream and upstream process areas
