About The Position

The Senior Manager, Project Support - GAP facilitates the strategic global vision for departmental/project processes, compliance, training, and SOP documentation within the GAP division. This position provides integration, analytical, decision and communication support to drive alignment on behalf of the key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. In addition to leading GAP’s strategic processes, the Senior Manager, Project Support - GAP leads stakeholder integration for all levels of Design, Development, and Delivery across all lines of business within Universal Destinations & Experiences (UDX) to deliver key metrics related to documentation for the delivery of capital projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable technical field required.
  • 7+ years’ experience in direct theme park specific technical/engineering roles required or similar experience in related technical field Or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure strategies and implementation plans align with GAP’s Charter, Mission, and Vision.
  • Institutes best-practice procedures and documentation.
  • Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GOP across all project management processes.
  • Assist the Director in development of the Long-Range Plans (LRP) for GAP by analyzing several data sources including IBE (Rockwell: Install, Base Evaluation), Maximo, Guest Experience & Analytics, GSAT, Quality Control Reports, PMWeb, etc.
  • Manage the integration and data analysis the Venue Sustainability Evaluation (VSE).
  • Partner with stakeholders to fulfill VSE requirements.
  • Facilitate the establishment of venue baselines for Reliability, Operations, and critical component use rates in contribution to VSE activities.
  • Facilitate training of internal/external stakeholders and teams regarding safety, documentation, processes, systems, and project management.
  • Implement audits, and quality control processes to support project management acquiring all documentation and deliverables.
  • Provide support to Finance, Legal and other Project related teams to identify best practices, optimization, and functionality.
  • Identify areas of concern and opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate the implementation of new policies, and availability in the interviewing process for staffing.
  • Build and develop process improvement tools to support the GAP organization, utilizing existing resources and identifying new resources for continuous improvement.
  • Develop dashboards, schedules, and reporting platforms.
  • Facilitate comprehensive risk management plan, utilizing scalable planning methods in anticipation for project risks and opportunities.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
