As a Senior Manager of Program Management in Capital One's Bank Tech Organization, you'll work on the Bank Modernization initiative driving innovation, optimizing operational efficiencies and fueling the bank's future as we reimagine our Consumer Bank through our new core banking platform. This role will manage the Bank Modernization Program's governance forums, agendas, action item tracking, program reporting and drive continuous process improvements across the Program Management Office. Candidates should have a passion for technology in financial services, strong strategic command, an engaging executive presence, exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, expertise in relationship-building, and the ability to manage large complex programs with energy and excitement.   • Work on large scale projects across the technology organization
  • Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate or escalate as needed
  • Plan, design, manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery, including management through feasibility, design, planning and implementation
  • Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation
  • Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional key stakeholders to understand processes and drive results
  • Identify ways to improve and streamline business process
  • Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 5 Years of Project Management experience
  • Master's degree
  • 6+ years of Project Management experience
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience within the Technology industry
  • 2+ years of Jira experience
  • 2+ years of Confluence experience
  • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong problem solving and influencing skills
