The Senior Manager, Program Management leads the execution of complex business initiatives by aligning cross-functional teams, removing obstacles, and driving continuous improvement. This role oversees program performance, develops strategic plans, and fosters a collaborative environment that supports associate growth and operational excellence. By partnering with senior leaders, the position ensures informed decision-making, effective communication, and alignment with company values. The role champions process enhancements and resource optimization to deliver measurable results while promoting a culture of accountability, integrity, and sustained business success. The Enterprise Business Services - Central Operations team plays a key role in aligning strategy, people, and execution across Walmart’s global operations. This team shapes and communicates the EBS narrative, supports leadership forums, and drives associate engagement, particularly in AI adoption. Collaborating closely with leadership, people partners, and technology teams, it ensures clarity, alignment, and measurable outcomes. By centralizing efforts and fostering strong partnerships, the team enables effective communication and execution across EBS’s six strategic pillars, contributing significantly to the organization’s success and innovation.

Requirements

  • Experience producing and managing internal communications or content programs in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate strategy into clear, engaging messages
  • Strong expertise in PowerPoint design, including building clear, executive-ready presentations
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with tools such as Canva and Vimeo for content creation
  • Ability to partner effectively with leaders and subject-matter experts to gather inputs and shape content
  • Sound judgment, attention to detail, and comfort owning work end-to-end
  • 2 years’ experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • 3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area

Nice To Haves

  • Managing a budget, profit and loss statement, or relate financial process
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field like (not limited to) project management, compliance, operations management, or related area
  • Project Management Certification

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of EBS communications by translating strategy and subject-matter inputs into clear, consistent content for associates and leaders
  • Own end-to-end production of newsletters, internal communications, and presentation materials
  • Partner with leaders and functional experts to gather inputs and ensure messages are timely and aligned
  • Develop and maintain communication plans and cadences to support key business rhythms and initiatives
  • Track engagement signals and feedback to understand what content is resonating and inform adjustments
