Capital One's Small Business Bank Data Modernization team is building a data destination of platforms, products, and processes that is well-managed and easy to govern, and where data is easy to find, understand, and use to enable real-time intelligent experiences. We excel in building, and supporting adoption of, scalable data tools and products as we build towards a modern, real-time, data environment. The Senior Manager, Product Manager for the Small Business Bank Data Modernization team plays a critical people leadership role in achieving our goals. This individual will lead and mentor a team of product managers in building our universe of data products covering our most used data for our data consumers; analysts, engineers, data scientists, product managers, and business partners. This role is crucial for transforming the data experience for all of our customer personas across Small Business Bank and will play a leading role in shaping local and partner roadmaps as we define shared capabilities that can be scaled across our line of business, and Enterprise.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management.
• At least 2 years of experience leading and managing a team of product managers.
• A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field or a Master's Degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration.

Nice To Haves

• Experience translating business and/or data strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products.
• Deep understanding of data management principles, data governance frameworks, and data lifecycle management.
• Experience with large-scale data platforms, data warehousing, data lakes, or real-time data streaming technologies.
• Proven ability to define and drive multi-year product roadmaps.
• Experience collaborating with product managers, data analysts, data scientists, and data engineers.
