About The Position

The Senior Manager of Product Development is a key leadership role responsible for defining and executing the company’s product strategy. This role oversees the complete product lifecycle, from ideation, design, and development to launch, enhancement, and retirement, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. The Senior Manager leads a team of project managers, engineers, and designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. The Senior Manager ensures products are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards while continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes, adopt emerging technologies, and maintain a competitive edge in the market. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong execution skills, leveraging data-driven decision-making and industry knowledge to deliver impactful products that drive business growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and support the long-term vision of the company.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
7–12 years of experience in product development, including at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of successfully launching products from concept to market.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills.
Deep understanding of product development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions.
Ability to balance technical, business, and customer requirements.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.

Nice To Haves

Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certification preferred.
Project management certification (PMP, PMI-ACP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of product strategies and roadmaps aligned with company goals.
Define product vision, objectives, and success metrics in collaboration with leadership and stakeholders.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to inform product direction.
Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch enhancements.
Ensure products meet quality, performance, and compliance standards.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and QA teams to deliver products on time and within budget.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing product development team.
Set clear goals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide career development guidance.
Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure clarity on product requirements.
Drive prioritization of product features and enhancements based on business impact.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Monitor product development KPIs and adjust plans to achieve targets.
Identify and mitigate risks that could impact product delivery or quality.
Identify opportunities for new products, features, or process improvements.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions.
