As a Senior Manager, Product Development: Headphones/Soundbars you'll serve as an advocate for our customers and see the products you develop, from ideation to finished product review, come to life in stores and online. You'll be the expert for Private Brand products within your categories of responsibility and leverage the scale and access of the Walmart system to truly impact the business and the lives of millions of customers worldwide. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field and 4 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area OR 6 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area.

  • Application development experience with emphasis on VBA and SQL programming languages.
  • Creative design software experience.
  • Financial modeling experience.
  • Leading and completing cross-functional projects.
  • Experience in manufacturing, product development, or packaging.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating to assist in setting the category strategy for Private Brands.
  • Building relationships with suppliers, merchants, business partners, and other Private Brand team members.
  • Influencing decisions about products including replenishment, supply chain, manufacturers, store operations, planning, assortment, layouts, budgets, modular, and pricing.
  • Working with Sourcing to deliver quality products whilst ensuring key business metrics are achieved.
  • Knowing your private brand customers and suppliers better than anyone and always thinking about what is next for your business.
  • Focusing on quality in continuous improvement and maintaining business required systems and protocols.
