About The Position

The Bank Design team at Capital One is at the forefront of enriching our customers' digital and physical experiences. We champion a thriving environment of collaboration, authenticity and healthy critique, in which we honor diversity of thought, create a culture of belonging, and elevate one another. If you're an innovator and storyteller who embraces an environment where you can experiment, learn, and change banking for good, we would love to hear from you. We're seeking a Product Design Leader to lead the Bank Acquisitions program and team within Bank Design's Become and Grow portfolio. You will work in close partnership with leaders in Business Analysis, Product, and Tech to shape the experiences of our prospective banking customers. As the Senior Manager of Design for Bank Acquisitions, you will have a point of view on our vision and strategy to propel our banking experiences into the future, connecting key banking journeys from shopping to customership. In this role, you'll be leading a program focused on customer acquisitions, which includes everything related to a banking prospect's shopping journey through the completion of their account application, and culminating with their new product and account customership. You will also be part of a leadership team that helps manage the collective portfolio, support the broader Design team, and drive the team's overall resourcing strategy. Our ideal candidate has experience with the full design lifecycle, from design research to in-market product delivery, and a systems-mindset for defining and deploying consistent and reusable componentry, and patterns, across our product portfolio. They excel, thrive and inspire in cross-functional environments that span design, product, technology and operations. And they bring a strategic and empathetic lens to defining the 'why' behind design decisions in service of delivering on both human and business impact.
