About The Position

Join Royal Caribbean Group as a Senior Manager Pre-Construction Projects, where you will be part of a team dedicated to turning vacations into a lifetime of memories. This full-time position is based in Miami and reports to the Director of Pre-Construction. We are looking for a seasoned professional with at least ten years of experience in the construction industry, who possesses strong leadership skills and the ability to manage complex projects. You will oversee a small team and drive multiple land-based hospitality projects through all phases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, MEP, construction management or a related field.
  • Ten plus years of progressive experience in construction management with a focus on Pre-Construction.
  • Strong leadership and people management experience.
  • Expertise in Hospitality, F&B, Retail and/or infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
  • Highly analytical and organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, MS Project, Smartsheets, AutoDesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks or similar software.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification.
  • Experience with Infrastructure, Utility, and Support Facility projects.
  • Experience with BIM Coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support a small team of pre-construction professionals.
  • Conduct performance reviews and manage day-to-day priorities.
  • Develop and implement high-level pre-construction strategies across a portfolio of projects.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to align pre-construction plans with investment strategy.
  • Drive execution efficiency across multiple projects.
  • Create and enhance relations with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
  • Develop, oversee, and validate all project-related cost estimates.
  • Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure budget compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and designers to ensure project designs are feasible.
  • Manage the preparation of bid packages and oversee procurement processes.
  • Lead contract negotiations with vendors and contractors.
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities that could impact projects.
  • Serve as the senior liaison between all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead permitting strategy and execution across jurisdictions.
  • Help with development and maintenance of internal QA/QC standards.
  • Support seamless handoff to construction teams with complete documentation.
