Requirements

  • Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, related Engineering disciplines, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and five (5) years of related experience.
  • Work Experience. Four (4) years of experience must include: Java; J2EE; JMS; SOA; OOAD; OOP; JEE design; Websphere Application Server; Eclipse IDE; Server-side application frameworks, including JSP, Servlet and Spring; ORMs, including Hibernate; Restful and SOAP-based web services, including JSON and XML; Unit testing frameworks, including Junit and Jest; and SQL Data Store – Oracle.
  • Experience must include three (3) years of experience with People Management.

  • Responsible to lead a team of software engineers responsible for building and maintaining microservices and features.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with team, both stateside and abroad.
  • Facilitate the team's work through coaching and guidance.
  • Provide leadership with realistic expectations and deadlines.
  • Serve as the final reviewer for code related to quarterly initiatives.
  • Oversee ad-hoc requests as they arise.
  • Work with clients, product managers, analysts, architects, and engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and implement information technology solutions.
  • Review and create system, software, and functional design specifications.
