About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Plant Manager to join our Cleveland OH team and oversee all aspects of plant performance, driving operational excellence, safety, productivity, and a culture of continuous improvement. In this critical role, you will lead cross‑functional teams — Production, Quality, EHS, Manufacturing Engineer — to deliver on Annual Operating Plan goals while cultivating a strong SQDCG focus and ensuring predictable, high‑quality outcomes. The ideal candidate brings deep manufacturing operations expertise, strong financial and business acumen, and a proven ability to translate strategic vision into actionable plans. You will champion the Regal Rexnord Business System, including 80/20 principles and Lean methodologies, fostering a future‑focused CI mindset throughout the plant. As a key member of the leadership team, you will partner on long‑term strategy, drive policy deployment, and ensure strong daily management systems are in place. This role also plays a pivotal part in talent development—building, coaching, and engaging a high‑performance team while promoting accountability, inclusion, and succession strength across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an Accredited University
  • 7+ years manufacturing operations experience; including experience with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Safety, Inventory, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and/or related support functions in a manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years leading people
  • Proven successful applications of multiple CI tools: 80/20, Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Flow, Standard Work, Visual Management, & Problem Solving
  • Strong operational and financial acumen, executive presence, and the ability to lead a site with a bias for action and a say-do mindset
  • Critical thinking skills to properly identify problem areas & potential solutions

Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence & Effective Problem Solving Maintain a safe work environment that is compliant with all regulations and drive environmental health and safety (EHS) metrics and continuous improvement initiatives that promote safety.
  • Lead the plant operations team to deliver on Annual Operating Plan (AOP), monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Set and achieve short and long-term SQDCG and financial objectives by supporting and driving the strategic vision by breaking it into actionable strategies and tactics.
  • Direct activities across the plant, providing leadership to Production, Quality, Purchasing, Human Resources and Finance.
  • Knows what good looks like and has the ability to coach and develop a team via the Gemba process.
  • Ensures accountability and enables the predictability of the outcomes of the plant.
  • Determine true root cause and corrective action of delivery, quality or other issues quickly and effectively.
  • Lead and drive the Regal Rexnord Business System which includes 80/20 and Continuous Improvement.
  • Skilled and experienced in decomposing a strategic vision into actionable strategies and tactics, that can be cascaded to their location.
  • Drive CI mindset, with clear future factory vision, to significantly improve productivity and efficiency across their plant and drive employee engagement.
  • Establish and sustain strong visual daily management, GEMBA culture, root cause corrective action, problem solving, and lean flow.
  • Develops controls and critically reviews results of operation in reference to planned objectives.
  • P&L Leadership - Business Partner Ability to work as a member of the plant leadership team to develop and communicate a future vision for the business.
  • Partners with the plant leadership team on the overall plant strategy, supports the establishment of an X-matrix, and drives policy deployment initiatives, aligned to operations with urgency and a high say/do.
  • Responsible for synthesizing action plans, timelines and budgets for project and product goals and adjusting these plans accordingly to effectively respond to changing demands of the operation.
  • Talent Management Develop a high-performance team by engaging, coaching, and developing team members, and by driving accountability and ownership at all levels.
  • Builds a team where all managers are proven talent, with a strong say/do and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Serve as an advocate for our top talent, developing and building strong succession plans to enable increased velocity, be a champion of promoting diversity and inclusion in and across the location.
