About the Role We are seeking a Senior Manager, Planning and Supply Chain to assume responsibility for overseeing all planning, purchasing, and materials management activities supporting production and distribution. This role leads the North American planning organization and is accountable for maintaining strong supplier performance, ensuring on-time delivery, competitive pricing, and optimal inventory levels. The position will report full time to our company HQ in Huntersville, NC and is a key contributor to SIOP processes and reports to the Director of Global Supply Chain. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 10+ years of supply chain planning experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory or management role
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
  • Experience with managing global suppliers
  • Strong continuous improvement background with proven results in cost reduction, inventory optimization, or customer experience improvement.
  • Hands-on leadership style with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrates ownership and accountability
  • Effective planning and execution
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to lead and influence
  • Skilled in lean methodologies, problem-solving, prioritization, decision-making, and data analysis
  • Capable of motivating teams to deliver consistent, high-quality results.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Daily/Weekly/Monthly KPIs to improve delivery performance, including backorders, stockouts/overages, lead time, and OTIF.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; develop strategies to drive cost savings and reduce lead times.
  • Utilize lean thinking to identify, design, and implement process improvements
  • Drive agility in the Supply Chain through alternative sourcing or approved component substitutions.
  • Support new product development.
  • Maintain and support Master Data processes and initiatives.
  • Provide support to cross functional partners as needed.
