Instacart’s People Analytics & Research team delivers trusted insights that help leaders make better, faster decisions and create an environment where every employee can do the best work of their career. We’re looking for a thoughtful data storyteller to manage this team, set a clear strategy, and turn complex people data into decision-ready narratives that drive measurable impact across the business. As the Manager, People Analytics & Research, you will ensure the right people, processes, and technology are in place to meet growing demand for high-quality insights. You’ll collaborate with HR Business Partners, Total Rewards, Recruiting, and Diversity, Equity & Belonging leaders, as well as data engineering partners, to build scalable analytics, evolve our data foundations, and coach stakeholders on using data effectively. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves in a fast-moving environment, values clarity and credibility, and can balance strategic vision with operational excellence. This is a high-visibility opportunity to shift the organization from one-off requests to repeatable, self-serve solutions and clear, consistent metrics—moving from ad-hoc support toward decision-ready analytics and stronger business outcomes.
