About The Position

The Senior Manager, Payroll at Sodexo is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Payroll Operations team, ensuring accurate preparation of wage and salary payroll using the ADP platform. This role includes managing customer service functions, compliance with state and federal regulations, and leading process improvement initiatives. The position requires strong leadership and technical payroll knowledge, with a focus on maintaining service levels and resolving escalated issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of technical payroll experience.
• CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification highly desired.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing others.
• Technical knowledge of payroll processes, including multi-state payroll processing.
• Experience with time and labor systems (ADP or Kronos preferred).
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with all organizational levels.
• Strong customer service skills and adaptability to change.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily functions of the Payroll Operations team.
• Oversee the customer service call desk and electronic distributions.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal payroll regulations.
• Lead process improvement efforts and develop payroll procedures and policies.
• Serve as the senior point person for escalated issues from Field Operations and HR.
• Support company projects and initiatives.
