This role is ideal for a leader who thrives at the intersection of REIT finance, cloud ERP, and ITIL-driven AMS.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in Finance Systems/ERP with 5+ years on Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, Projects, Procurement, Lease).
  • 3+ years leading AMS/production support (L2/L3) for Oracle Cloud Financials with proven ownership of quarterly update cycles and test automation for regressions.
  • Demonstrated REIT exposure: deep understanding of ASC 842, straight-line rent, CAM/power pass-through reconciliation, tenant/colocation billing flows, and revenue/lease controls in a REIT or similar environment.
  • SOX/ITGC & SoD: practical experience designing and operating controls, managing user access, conducting access reviews, and producing audit evidence; strong RCA discipline.
  • Implementation experience: played a key role in at least one end-to-end Oracle Cloud Financials implementation (design, configuration, data conversion, integrations, cutover, hypercare).
  • Integrations: hands-on with OIC, REST/SOAP, and FBDI; understands idempotency, error handling, and secure design for flows to treasury/banking, DCIM, CRM, and billing.
  • Reporting: proficiency with OTBI/BI Publisher, GL balances cube, and close metrics; able to translate finance requirements into analytics/dashboards.
  • ITIL foundations: measurable success improving MTTR, reducing repeat incidents, and driving change quality; clear SLA management.
  • Strong finance acumen: CoA design, intercompany, consolidations, project accounting, asset lifecycle, and capitalization policies.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication with Controllers, FP&A, and Engineering/Operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Financials Implementation Specialist in GL/AP/AR/FA/Procurement/Projects; OIC).
  • ITIL v4, CPA/CMA (or close partnership experience with Accounting), Security/Privacy certifications a plus.
  • Experience in data center / digital infrastructure businesses, multi-entity/JV environments, and EPM/FCCS.
  • Exposure to Treasury (cash positioning, bank statement automation, payments, lockbox), and bank connectivity patterns.

Responsibilities

  • Own AMS (L2/L3) & Roadmap: Lead day-to-day operations and the multi-year product roadmap for Oracle Cloud Financials; ensure 99.9%+ uptime, audit readiness, and predictable delivery.
  • Quarterly Updates: Orchestrate the full Oracle quarterly update cycle—impact assessment, regression test automation, cutover, and hypercare—to deliver zero critical defects impacting financial close.
  • ITIL Excellence: Establish and mature incident, problem, and change management with SLAs, on-call rotations, RCA, and preventative actions that measurably reduce repeat incidents.
  • Data Governance & Security: Govern financial master data (CoA, legal entities/BUs, suppliers/customers, projects, asset categories/locations) and role-based security/SoD; maintain SOX/ITGC controls.
  • Capex to Fixed Assets: Partner with Controllers, FP&A, and Development/Asset teams to optimize project-to-asset capitalization, componentization, and depreciation for data center builds, fit‑outs, and refresh cycles.
  • REIT Processes: Oversee REIT-specific lease and revenue processes—tenant/colocation billing integrations, ASC 842 lease accounting, straight-line rent, CAM/power pass-through reconciliation—with strong controls.
  • Close & Reporting: Deliver executive-ready reporting and close KPIs via OTBI/BI Publisher and the GL balances cube; accelerate close, consolidation, and variance analysis across entities and JVs.
  • Integrations: Manage integrations with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and FBDI; ensure resilient, secure data flows with DCIM, billing, CRM, and banking/treasury platforms.
  • Risk, Compliance & Cost: Drive SOX/ITGC compliance, access reviews, data privacy, vendor/SI management, and timely remediation of audit findings; continuously optimize run costs and license posture.
  • Strategic Roadmap: Define and execute a multi-year finance systems roadmap (cash/treasury, fixed-asset analytics, EPM/FCCS alignment), balancing quick wins with scalable, OCI-aligned architecture.
  • Team & Vendor Leadership: Lead a matrixed team (FTE + MSP/SI partners), set engineering standards, coach talent, and enforce high-quality documentation and change governance.
