Position Summary: Liberty Hardware is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations within our Winston-Salem Distribution Center, supporting a multi-shift team of associates . Reporting to the Site Director, this role is responsible for executing the order fulfillment strategy, driving performance, and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. The Senior Operations Manager will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service, optimizing material flow, and supporting Liberty’s long-range business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive leadership experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution, including multi-shift team management.
  • Proven ability to lead complex initiatives, drive change, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience developing and implementing standard operating procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with demonstrated senior-level presence.
  • Analytical problem solver with strategic planning capabilities and comfort navigating ambiguity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s/MBA preferred.
  • Familiarity with warehouse automation and optimization are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations across three shifts, ensuring consistent performance in service, quality, cost, and safety.
  • Implement the 1–3 year order fulfillment strategy, aligning material flow and distribution processes with evolving B2B and B2C business needs.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs using data-driven reporting and analytics to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Leverage Warehouse Management Systems and Masco Operating System (MOS) tools to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Build and sustain a high-performing team by promoting development at all levels, fostering engagement, and creating a strong talent pipeline.
  • Partner with Inventory Control, Customer Service, IT, HR, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Ensure operational compliance with customer requirements and internal standards, including inventory accuracy and cycle count certification.
  • Support automation initiatives and explore technology enhancements to improve scalability and responsiveness.
