Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of hands-on penetration testing and red teaming experience
  • Current technical proficiency in application, network, cloud, and infrastructure testing
  • Experience leading distributed technical teams across multiple time zones
  • Proven ability to build cohesive team culture in remote/hybrid work environments
  • Strong understanding of the SDLC and how to integrate security effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working directly with development teams to drive vulnerability remediation
  • Proficiency with common penetration testing tools and methodologies
  • Ability to automate testing processes using scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Experience managing relationships with external security testing vendors
  • Strong documentation and technical writing skills
  • Experience adapting security testing approaches to regional compliance requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant security certifications (OSCP, GPEN, GXPN, etc.)
  • Experience leading teams across APAC, EMEA, and Americas regions
  • Experience with containerization and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and code review techniques
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline security integration
  • Background in implementing purple team exercises
  • Understanding of varied compliance requirements across global regions
  • Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, etc.)
  • Experience with cross-cultural team building and communication

Responsibilities

  • Actively perform complex penetration tests, red team exercises, and security assessments across our environment
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing global team of penetration testers and red team specialists
  • Establish a 24/7 offensive security capability through strategic distribution of team expertise across time zones
  • Develop standardized methodologies that ensure consistent quality across geographically dispersed team members
  • Implement collaborative workflows and communication protocols that optimize remote team effectiveness
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and skills development across international team boundaries
  • Personally review and validate findings from team members and external vendors
  • Directly communicate security vulnerabilities and remediation strategies to development teams
  • Coordinate offensive operations that span multiple regions and technology stacks
  • Create clear, actionable reports that effectively communicate technical findings in business terms
  • Build collaborative relationships with global engineering teams to prioritize security fixes
  • Implement metrics to track remediation progress and security posture improvement across regions
  • Stay current with emerging attack techniques and security research
