About The Position

As a Senior Manager of Product Development, you will set the direction for the overall development, support, and delivery of Epicor applications. You will lead and manage the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensure seamless integration and optimization of Database solutions, and oversee the design, development, and deployment of BI tools.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to comprehend the details of a technical product marketplace and define a strategy for successful product development and deployment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with at least 5+ years of experience managing and developing employees.
• Excellent communication skills, analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of product development.
• Proficiency in JIRA, Oracle DB, MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau, and Linux.
• 10+ years of progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge in the field.
• 4+ years of specialized/industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the work of the PD team, ensuring clarity around priorities and goals, including planning, requirements gathering, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Provide technical leadership, direction, and guidance on developing innovative solutions and recommend the development of software and software tools used for design, infrastructure, and platforms.
• Administer departmental policies and procedures, evaluate results and performance, and assist with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies.
• Lead and manage the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, developing and implementing product strategies that align with company goals.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of BI tools, with a preference for MicroStrategy, and ensure seamless integration and optimization of Oracle Database solutions.
• Utilize hands-on experience with Linux for day-to-day operations and troubleshooting.
• Manage and develop software teams within the database, ensuring effective use of JIRA for project management.
