About The Position
The Senior Manager of Procurement is responsible for overseeing procurement, vendor relationships and supply chain operations engagement across Optum WA and OR. This role, in partnership with the corporate and regional procurement teams will develop and execute strategies to optimize sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services. The Senior Manager of Procurement will work closely with cross-functional teams across the organization to drive continuous improvement, mitigate risks, and support the company's overall business objectives. The Senior Manager of Procurement will manage a team of buyers primarily responsible for ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), diagnostic labs, imaging services, and multi-specialty clinics. Categories include capital equipment, pharmaceuticals, surgical supplies and outpatient clinical goods. This role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders to drive value, service excellence and innovation in the supply chain.
