Senior Manager of Geotechnical Engineering (Civil Eng. Degree Only)
About The Position
Tolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Geotechnical Engineering for our Mega Projects Group in Houston. The successful candidate will provide engineering and consulting services for a wide variety of projects and clients in variety of market sector. We will provide training and support necessary for career advancement with the objective of developing the candidate into further managemenet roles. Our Houston operations are well established in the local market and our offices have an experienced engineering support staff in place. We are seeking a candidate with excellent communication skills, a strong desire for career advancement, and sound leadership qualities.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience; priority given to 5+ years as a supervisor
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
- Active PE License Required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Ability to prepare technical proposals with little supervision.
- Execute highly technical geotechnical engineering project assignments.
- Lead a team of 2-3 junior geotechnical engineers.
- Manage and coordinate geotechnical field and laboratory assignments.
- Perform engineering analyses and report preparation.
- Maintain client expectations for project quality and schedule.
