About The Position

Reporting to the Director of DevSecOps, the Sr. Manager of Network Security is a technical leadership position managing network security services across Experian's Data Center and Cloud estate in a high-traffic e-commerce environment. You will have experience eliminating repetitive work; automation and self-service are methodologies you will use every day. If you embody NetSecOps (communication, collaboration, integration, infrastructure as code and automation) and can improve a technology transformation, this role is for you!

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or other technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a hands-on cloud engineering role with 5 years experience leading/managing a team of Network or Security engineers
  • Background of creating teams focusing on a 24x7 e-commerce environment
  • Experience balancing an organization's IT Infrastructure needs with its need to do
  • Background in network infrastructure and security technologies
  • Deep experience deploying applications in AWS, GCP, or Azure public clouds
  • Cisco or equivalent certifications. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • Professional certification such as CISSP, CCSP or CCSK, Cloud Platform and Infrastructure relevant experience and certification
  • Working knowledge of standard industry cybersecurity requirements and regulatory requirements such as OWASP, HIPAA, HITRUST, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and PCI-DSS
  • ITIL certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Cloud Networks, VLAN concepts, and interior and exterior protocols
  • Experience with SD-Wan, concepts, and capabilities
  • Experience deploying automation solutions in a public cloud environment like AWS
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity execution experience
  • WAN, Firewall concepts and architectures, IPS, and remote access methods
  • Ability to deal with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations
  • Support for multiple geographic business regions (US & UK)
  • Leadership, Network Engineering, Security, Collaboration, Automation, and AWS experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and daily management of the Network Security team
  • Lead network security projects, including strategy, requirements gathering, and definition of scope and project timelines as a Product Owner
  • Recruit DevOps personnel and manage career development for the team
  • Lead efforts across the engineering, Data Services, and Information Security teams by promoting cooperative relationships and empowering the team
  • Build an organization made up of Cloud fundamentals that embody the concept of Infrastructure as Code solutions
  • Manage the daily operations for the Network engineering functions, including project management and project coordination across multiple geographical offices, appraising performance, training, administering salaries, and communicating department goals
  • Maintain relationships with our partners and vendors including budget and negotiations
  • Configuration management standards across infrastructure and applications for the cloud environments
  • Understand the importance of multi-cloud strategies and multi-region HA and DR capabilities
  • Troubleshoot complex Network security issues to identify the cause
