About The Position
GSK is currently seeking a Senior Manager for Digital and Data Science within the Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) organization at our King of Prussia site. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our manufacturing processes are capable, compliant, and productive while maintaining the highest standards of product quality. The MSAT team is responsible for continuous improvements in the supply chains supported by UM Biopharm and collaborates with global MSAT teams to execute technology transfers and implement process-related improvement programs throughout the product lifecycle. As the Senior Manager, you will lead the site MSAT efforts in the data and analytics domain, supporting site initiatives and the implementation of smart manufacturing principles. You will drive innovative solutions to complex technical challenges and lead a team of data scientists and engineers to deliver product and process data solutions in a biologics manufacturing environment. This role emphasizes leveraging data as a key asset to accelerate technology transfer, simplify validation processes, support continuous improvement for established commercial processes, and enhance the technical understanding of biopharmaceutical manufacturing. In addition to technical leadership, you will be responsible for promoting the development of the MSAT organization, enhancing the technical and leadership capabilities of the team, and improving data literacy across the organization. You will work within a matrix team to ensure alignment of data analytics platforms and approaches, collaborating with various departments such as production, quality, and engineering, as well as stakeholders in central MSAT and data analytics teams to implement novel data analytics tools and technologies in the commercial manufacturing space.
