About The Position

The Senior Manager, M&A Planning at Novo Nordisk is responsible for driving operational effectiveness and productivity within the M&A Advisory group. This role involves providing strategic and operational support to the Director of M&A Planning, overseeing project management efforts, and developing processes to enhance functional strategies. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and aims to optimize workflow and project completion within budget and timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • MBA or CFA/CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of project management or cross-functional team leadership experience required.
  • 4 years of industry or mergers & acquisitions experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to build strong collaborative relationships.
  • Cross-functional experience in multiple functional areas.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and engage stakeholders in a dynamic environment with tight timelines.
  • Possess strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess superior communication skills, both oral, written and presentation.
  • Uncompromising ethics and high standard of personal integrity.
  • Proven track record of strong teamwork, innovation, and project management.

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with regulatory strategies and FDA interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational support to the Director, M&A Planning.
  • Oversee M&A Advisory group project management efforts.
  • Lead the development of processes to drive innovation and efficiencies in the M&A Advisory operating model.
  • Develop, monitor, and analyze KPIs to drive group performance across the NN M&A value chain.
  • Ensure critical projects are communicated and coordinated across team members to optimize workflow.
  • Ensure departmental projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage relationships, contracts, and projects with vendors.
