About The Position

The Senior Manager, Medicare Growth & Broker Partnerships plays a pivotal role in growing the capitated membership for Kelsey-Seybold Clinic by strategically engaging external brokers, agents, and agencies who write insurance policies for Medicare Advantage-eligible beneficiaries. This senior-level position will lead broker relationship management, drive engagement initiatives, and collaborate with key stakeholders to strengthen the clinic's position as a leading provider network. The Senior Manager will be responsible for creating and executing innovative strategies to expand enrollment and enhance broker understanding of the Kelsey-Seybold value proposition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, marketing, or a related field (or 10+ years of equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in Medicare Advantage broker relations, provider group business development, or sales management within the healthcare sector.
  • TDI Group 1 - Life and Health License.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to strategically analyze data, use insights to inform decision-making, and optimize broker performance.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare Advantage plans, CMS regulations, and the broker sales ecosystem.

Nice To Haves

  • Existing relationships with brokers and agencies in Houston and surrounding areas.
  • Experience within a provider-led Medicare Advantage model or value-based care system.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Strong leadership experience with a focus on strategic growth initiatives and team management.
  • Proven track record of successfully building and scaling broker engagement programs and driving membership growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead broker engagement strategy to drive Medicare Advantage membership growth for Kelsey-Seybold Clinic.
  • Develop and maintain high-level relationships with brokers, FMOs (Field Marketing Organizations), and agencies writing Medicare Advantage policies.
  • Work cross-functionally with Kelsey-Seybold's marketing, sales operations, and KelseyCare teams to align outreach efforts and ensure effective messaging.
  • Design and lead training programs and workshops to educate external brokers on Kelsey-Seybold's network, Medicare Advantage plans, and coordinated care model.
  • Utilize data and performance analytics to monitor broker engagement, optimize referral trends, and improve PCP selection rates.
  • Ensure compliance with CMS regulations and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic's standards for Medicare Advantage marketing and sales activities.
  • Represent Kelsey-Seybold Clinic at major broker conferences, industry events, and local networking opportunities.
  • Provide ongoing support to brokers and agents by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering tools to aid in member enrollment.
  • Track market developments and competitor activities, adjusting strategies to maintain a competitive edge in broker partnerships.
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for brokers, delivering exceptional customer service and support to increase broker loyalty and retention.
