About The Position

The role of Senior Manager, Material Handling Equipment Service will support Walmart’s strategy of Supply Chain Automation. The manager will oversee the procurement, installation, and maintenance of Supply Chain Automation MHE, as well as manage future upgrades and retrofits. Anticipated travel for this role is 20-35%.

Requirements

A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
A proven track record of delivering results.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Experience with building maintenance programs for ASRS, robotics, and electrical equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
Bachelor's degree in a Technical related field (e.g., Controls, Electrical) and 4 years experience in Material Handling Industry or related field OR 8 years experience in Material Handling Industry or related field.

Responsibilities

Manage and improve maintenance programs for MHE equipment including ASRS (Automated storage and retrieval Systems), Automated bots, Robotic palletizers and depalletizers, and electrical equipment including VFD’s and PLC’s.
Ensure the vertical startup of new automation sites for spare parts, trained personnel, and standard processes
Oversee electrical and mechanical upgrades for enhancements in field sites.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address equipment issues, working closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely resolution.
Continuously evaluate and improve processes and programs to ensure peak reliability and minimal equipment downtime.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
