About The Position

The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations plays a critical role in enabling compliant, efficient, and high‑quality delivery of promotional materials. This role orchestrates the digital content supply chain end‑to‑end—supporting brand teams through promotional review, launch readiness, and execution—while continuously evolving processes to meet the needs of the business. The role partners closely with Marketing, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Commercialization Excellence, applying risk‑based decision‑making, modern digital tools, and strong business judgment to balance speed, quality, and compliance—particularly during high‑intensity launch periods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; graduate degree a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with demonstrated understanding of promotional review processes and compliance‑regulated environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Veeva PromoMats and familiarity with AI‑enabled tools in marketing or compliance workflows.
  • Proven ability to manage complex processes, tight timelines, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering effectively with Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, and Legal teams.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills with a focus on driving clear decisions and outcomes.
  • Agile, continuous‑improvement mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands‑on execution.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Judgment, Insight & Continuous Improvement Understand the spirit and intent of policies and processes by exercising sound judgment and structured decision‑making to navigate ambiguity, manage risk, and keep work moving forward without unnecessary escalation.
  • Demonstrate critical, creative thinking and problem-solving skills; produce clear, concise, and persuasive written and verbal communications; and enhance stakeholder communications with insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Provide solutions and contingency plans to facilitate business success; exerts appropriate authority for process exceptions; holds self-accountable for results; and brings innovative approaches to project challenges.
  • Use data, metrics, and insights to inform decisions, proactively solve problems, and improve operational outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement by simplifying processes, enhancing ways of working, and sharing best practices and lessons learned across teams.
  • Promotional Review & Content Operations Understand organizational priorities, key materials, executions, and timelines; stays immersed in the business and leverage knowledge of brand/customer goals to partner on and support strategies and objectives.
  • Lead prioritization and planning of commercial materials through the Promotional Review Process (PReP), applying risk‑based Smart Routing and tiering to streamline reviews.
  • Optimize review pathways based on content type (New, Updated, Derivative, Direct Lift) to improve efficiency and turnaround time.
  • Facilitate focused Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review sessions to ensure delivery of clear, targeted, and actionable guidance.
  • Oversee consistency and reconciliation reviews to ensure label alignment, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Launch Readiness & Execution Proactively look for ways to improve, streamline, and simplify internal processes and drives implementation of process/system changes.
  • Partner with appropriate stakeholders like Launch Excellence, Label & Launch Operations, CRA Operations, Integrated Marketing teams & ICDx Production to define and support U.S. launch order of operations for new franchises and new indications.
  • Lead coordination and communication for critical launch milestones, including pre‑PDUFA training and post‑approval updates.
  • Track and manage Day 0 and Day 1 priority materials to ensure on‑time regulatory submissions during accelerated timelines.
  • Proactively monitor regulatory, label, and competitive developments, partnering with brand teams to address risks and prevent downstream bottlenecks.
  • Digital Content Supply Chain Enablement Leverage Veeva PromoMats and AI‑enabled tools to automate routine compliance checks and improve workflow velocity.
  • Maintain stewardship of claims libraries to support effective content reuse and ensure a single source of truth for approved claims and promotional assets.
