About The Position

Position Summary The purpose of this job is to lead key strategic market access initiatives for the Industrial Applications business in the US. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Scientific Affairs and Market access in the North America market.  Key collaborators will include the regional Commercial operations, Scientific Affairs and R D teams.  The position can be based remotely based.   Primary Duties Be a regulatory watch and contribute to the Industrial Applications business strategy by monitoring, internal reporting, and aligning with the regulatory evolution in the US to support the industrial applications business interests across the US. Collaborate with the USmercial operations team in establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships with key opinion leaders in various market segments, including those operating within customer, government, academia and regulatory/tradeanizations, in order to advance bioMérieux industrial applications business objectives across the US. prioritize and sometime lead the development and delivery of content at events (symposia, webinar, round-table discussions, etc.) including external pertinentanizations such as IAFP and PDA etc. Technology scouting and guidance to business, Scientific Affairs and R D on technological trends.   Increase the understanding of evolving market needs in various segments with the industrial applications business unit and identify potential business development opportunities. Facilitate influence-building with the regulatory/public health agencies, pertinent academic institutions, and key industry members, including at the C-suite level Perform all work inpliance withpany quality procedures and standards. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in biological sciences discipline like Microbiology or similar is desired
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 4 years related experience will be accepted in lieu of a bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of professional related experience working in Food Safety and/or Pharma Quality Control to include:
  • Experience working as a KOL
  • Contributing member of a food safety and/or pharma quality control professionalanization
  • Business acumen to understand how a business operates and how to make it successful.
  • Functional skills including critical thinking, adaptability, time management,munication, problem-solving and digital literacy.
  • Technical skills with mastery levelmensurate to the job level, marked by specialization and innovation in the field of work.
