About The Position

The Senior Manager Market Access Channel Strategy at Novo Nordisk is responsible for developing channel strategies to optimize access for existing and future products. This role involves analyzing market trends, supporting execution across the healthcare ecosystem, and collaborating with various internal teams to ensure effective communication and strategy alignment. The position focuses on the broader portfolio, particularly in Diabetes and Obesity, and aims to drive optimal health outcomes through innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; PharmD and/or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of eight years of relevant experience in management consulting, healthcare payer, pharmaceutical market access strategy, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of the US payer environment and market dynamics.
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and report data, particularly related to pricing and government channels.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Leadership skills to develop and communicate a vision and engage teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with statistical tools for data analysis, such as Microsoft Excel and Tableau.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical pricing models and market access strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute overarching strategy for Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid channels.
  • Monitor the US market access environment to identify trends and policy changes.
  • Drive the development of long-term market access outlook and strategy for pipeline products.
  • Gather and interpret pricing and member enrollment data to identify patterns and trends.
  • Collaborate with MAPA, Medical Affairs, HEOR, Marketing, Finance, and Field Sales to identify business needs and develop training plans.
  • Maintain landscape documents that provide an overview of channel trends and educate the organization.
  • Provide project management support across various special projects and initiatives.
  • Lead promotional reviews and manage agency relationships.
  • Ensure access strategies align with Marketing regarding portfolio positioning and messaging.
  • Develop and implement key metrics to measure channel success.
