As Senior Manager you will support the Manufacturing and Technical Operations (MTO) Finance Controller, in all aspects of the site financial performance. You will analyze internal financial information (e.g., profit loss accounts, financial statements, working capital, costs, prices, expenses, revenues, rates of return, etc.) as well as external economic conditions and their impact on business operations (e.g., inflation, interest rates, exchange rates, etc.) You will use financial modeling to measure and forecast potential impacts of financial transactions and corporate development activities at our Johns Creek, GA location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 7 Years of Relevant Experience
  • 5 Years of Demonstrated Leadership

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing accounting or finance
  • Advanced Excel, proficiency in BI tools, working knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise ERP
  • Preferably with CPA or CMA or similar designation.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and BI tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Proven leadership, teamwork, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for the site.
  • Coordinate and manage the annual budget and monthly forecast processes for the site.
  • Develop and maintain product costing models and standards for the site.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators and variances for the site.
  • Provide financial support and advice to the site management and operations teams on business decisions and opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and external audits.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and standard methodologies to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams and projects to support strategic initiatives and goals to improve operational efficiency.
  • Analyze data and provide insights to drive continuous improvement and optimization of site performance.
  • Develop a future Alcon MTO plant controller within 1-2 years, must have full relocation availability within the US.
