Requirements

• Deep technical understanding and experience with manufacturing engineering and tooling engineering.
• Significant experience leading teams of engineers within these disciplines.
• Experience in leading people leaders, preferably within subject disciplines.
• Strong cross-functional and collaborative skills to work effectively in team dynamics among leadership peers.
• Ability to mentor and groom young career managers.
• Experience or high level of understanding in manufacturing process control.
• Experience or high level of understanding in tooling design, simulation, and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams within the Manufacturing and Tooling Engineering departments.
• Own the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes and tooling design.
• Oversee fabrication, maintenance, and process application and capabilities.
• Communicate within and outside of the organization to influence leadership to accept new practices, approaches, and concepts.
• Develop or champion new concepts or technologies.
• Manage the implementation of functional strategies and recommend operational plans that impact business area results.
