The Manager Global Supply Planning reports to the Associate Director Global Supply Planning Microbiology Platform. Leads a team of Global Supply Planners across multiple WW Manufacturing sites. This position has responsibility for working with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the right Supply Chain strategies and processes are in place to support global and regional business and customer needs for DS Microbiology products. The role directly supports Global Marketing, Regional Supply Planning, Manufacturing Operations, Plant Finance, Quality Management and Regulatory Management to drive overall business performance for DS products. This includes delivering & improving overall service levels, inventory health levels, and cost saving objectives. It requires the ability to balance and stretch the often conflicting needs of cash inventory investments, efficient manufacturing, financial results, and customer service levels. Accountable for the end-to-end supply planning excellence, strategic ideation and execution, acts as a change agent, and drives the GSC planning strategy toward improved end-to-end results. Provides SC planning leadership to support the Associate Director Global Supply Planning in setting prioritization & direction for Global Network Planners. Directly involved in core business processes and lead major Supply Chain programs including evolution of DRP with centralized distribution planning/push model. The role is responsible for leading key IBP monthly process steps for the Microbiology plants and achieving key KPI metrics.
